Josh,
Next one please!Great book, has action, humor, drama, sadness, pain, humility, bravery, and just about every other emotion in the human genome。 I hope the next book comes forward soon。
Randy Smith,
Good bookIf this series continues in this vein then I look forward to all the future books。 The story is well written and it really feels like a cultivation novel
Zack,
Fuuuuuuu** I wish there was moreI can’t wait till more are released。 Another amazing storyline of the xianxia series。 Please keep pumping out books like this my guy。 Oh but maybe write down the rules to each thing for reference cuz some things conflicted with earlier series。 I didn’t leave a note on them cuz I thought they went with the story quite well and maybe that was the purpose。 Thanks for all the hard work!!
Jason Spears,
Captivating readJim’s adventures to save his world with his friends continue to hold my attention。 Great book, I can’t wait for book 4。

Nope, cause Jim is not the luckiest fellow and the gods seem to enjoy his trials and the irony of some of his new life。 But they have no patience for fools and he was the greatest fool they had seen, but he seems to be growing out of that… or is he?Another great cultivation story with a young team growing and fighting while traveling the world in pursuit of a noble goal。 Kill all the nox before the gods decide to destroy the planet rather than let the nox convert it to the dark! 。。。more
Danny Moody,
Great addition to the series! This series is one of the most successful reincarnation cultivation series that I have encounter。 The characters are diverse and interesting。 The plot is engaging and promises more to come。 The writing is fun with brutal moments。
Rene' VanDerHeyden,
Hang on tight!Mr。 Head has us rocketing along without a net and the odious litrpg statistics pages。 Thanks for another fun ride。
Somahiro,
best book in the series。
Michael,
Cyclical and Repetitive These books are entertaining, but after three of them, I now realize the story follows the same rinse and repeat formula。 Also I can’t help but be annoyed by the immature humor the author constantly uses。 It’s a comedic, yet brutal take on the cultivation genre, that has some promising moments。 The lack of seriousness towards actual cultivation and growth is a little off putting to those who have read the more traditional series。
Seth ,
Good installment in seriesThis is a great series, in my opinion。 This book has just as much action and chicanery as the ones before。 Next book please。
Jonathon H,
Amusing tale of serious violence This story continues to be enjoyable。 A bit more violent than other books I read。 The MC is strong and smart, but not overly so。 The interactions between him and his friends is great。 It could use a bit more editing as a few sentences have the wrong word at times。 I look forward to the next book。 The ending kind of revealed where they would be going for one or two books to come。 Should be fun。
Kyi Night,
Might be my favorite book of the series so far。 The adventure was great and unique。 You don't get many ocean farring adventures。 I love how unexpected the villains can be! While the hero has the air of being op he always ends up in situation where they are over there head and they have to use tactics and luck to try to get out of it。 I love the social aspect of this book as the the mc tries to comes to turns with dealing with people and being a good friend。 Might be my favorite book of the series so far。 The adventure was great and unique。 You don't get many ocean farring adventures。 I love how unexpected the villains can be! FantasticA pleasant mixture of comedy with bouts of brutal violence to meet out justice。 I devoured this book as well as the first two in the series。 I enjoyed every second and wait impatiently for the next。
GaiusPrimus,
Another good one in the seriesI've really been enjoying this series。 It's one of those send back in time situations and while it is Wuxia, with all the craziness that the genre normally brings along, it is quite a fun read。 Another good one in the seriesI've really been enjoying this series。 It's one of those send back in time situations and while it is Wuxia, with all the craziness that the genre normally brings along, it is quite a fun read。 。。。more

Another solid book from Michael Head。 Though the series is a bit formulaic (they fight the bad guys, kings and other high parties turn out to be evil, etc etc) it's still full of action and keeps you engaged。 I'm curious as to how this series will be at least 15 books? Jim is already so OP。。。interested to see where Mr。 Head can take the story to keep it fun for the reader Another solid book from Michael Head。 Though the series is a bit formulaic (they fight the bad guys, kings and other high parties turn out to be evil, etc etc) it's still full of action and keeps you engaged。 I'm curious as to how this series will be at least 15 books? Not much new - very minor spoilersJim is still OP compared to anyone we’ve seen yet。Almost everyone they meet is still an asshole。He still doesn’t seem to see half of the betrayals coming, even when they were the most obvious。The book introduces a few new plot points and paints a slightly clearer picture to Jim and team about the empire。 No shock that it’s an unflattering picture, right? Richard Crossan,
Picked up on audible but wanted to put up a review here as well。 This is a great continuation of the story。 Fights are superbly written, fast paced and brutal as hell。 Also has some of the best comedy I've read in ages。 Honestly the author's balance between dark brutal fights and light hearted journey with friends is just amazing。 Can't wait for the next book in this series Picked up on audible but wanted to put up a review here as well。 This is a great continuation of the story。 Fights are superbly written, fast paced and brutal as hell。 Also has some of the best comedy I've read in ages。 Honestly the author's balance between dark brutal fights and light hearted journey with friends is just amazing。 Can't wait for the next book in this series 。。。more

Chris Kirkby,
Feeling a lot more formulaic this time round, our intrepid adventurers head onto the high seas to face more Nox and more horrible excuses for human beings。 There's still great writing, some fun moments of levity and an interesting and winding adventure (if a little expected and repetitive feeling at times), but the loss of a possibly interesting and new relationship to return to the grind this time around, was a little disappointing for me, here's hoping to a little more light for our MC in the Feeling a lot more formulaic this time round, our intrepid adventurers head onto the high seas to face more Nox and more horrible excuses for human beings。 There's still great writing, some fun moments of levity and an interesting and winding adventure (if a little expected and repetitive feeling at times), but the loss of a possibly interesting and new relationship to return to the grind this time around, was a little disappointing for me, here's hoping to a little more light for our MC in the next edition。 。。。more

The sense of risk is diminishing as the team's capabilities skyrocket。 At one point Jim makes an off-hand statement about the need to investigate the suitability of the king's successor before they kill the king。 That demonstrates how little challenge they've come to expect from life。 In addition, the king eventually dies without that investigation and the team moves on regardless。I'm enjoying the series, I just worry that the enemy will have to become cartoonishly powerful just to keep things b The sense of risk is diminishing as the team's capabilities skyrocket。 At one point Jim makes an off-hand statement about the need to investigate the suitability of the king's successor before they kill the king。 That demonstrates how little challenge they've come to expect from life。 In addition, the king eventually dies without that investigation and the team moves on regardless。I'm enjoying the series, I just worry that the enemy will have to become cartoonishly powerful just to keep things balanced。 I hope the challenges become more cerebral in nature。。。 necessitating difficult choices where some sort of cost is almost certain。 。。。more

Rating 4。0 stars I still like the series and the characters but I wasn't as impressed with the growth of the character。 The MC didn't seem to use any of his information from the future in this one, at least nothing new。 The main benefit of coming back in time is that a person knows what is going to happen。 He used that information to help his cultivation grow faster but nothing more specific。 I also felt there was a little more contradiction in this story。 Since the beginning the MC is worried a Rating 4。0 stars I still like the series and the characters but I wasn't as impressed with the growth of the character。 The MC didn't seem to use any of his information from the future in this one, at least nothing new。 The main benefit of coming back in time is that a person knows what is going to happen。 He used that information to help his cultivation grow faster but nothing more specific。 I also felt there was a little more contradiction in this story。 Since the beginning the MC is worried about keeping a low profile because he does not want to get the attention of the empire。 More specifically, the emperor's son。 yet he and his group are way stronger that they should be for there age and are always right in the middle of conflict。 How is that keeping a low profile? Then there is his advancement。 (view spoiler)[ The MC was on the verge of becoming a Saint cultivator。 He mentioned that he might just need a big fight to push him over the edge to reach that level。 Yet when he was in combat he had to hold back advancing because it would have caused problems in his fight。 Which one was it? He mentioned that he had children in his previous life and talked about taking care of them。 I wonder when he will realize that those kids are gone forever and will never be born? He didn't sound broken up about it。 The last fight was a little annoying for me。 The MC is supposed to be really smart but he did some stupid things there。 The gate was pulling in the blood from the dead。 The gate was a portal to the Nox world and would allow the demons to come to this world。 He kept killing everything around him and kept feeding the gate。 What the hell was he thinking。 When he finally won, it was a complete fluke。 I was expecting much more from the MC。 (hide spoiler)] Overall I still love the characters and the humor is subtle but works well。 。。。more
